A domain name is essential to be found on the internet. Without one, you cannot run a web site nor receive email under your company name. In order to acquire a domain name, you must first do a search to see if the name you want is available and if it is, then you can apply to register it.
Different domain names have different conditions to allow you to register them. A standard .au domain name requires specific information in order to register it with the proper authorities. Our setup makes this easy with a simple-to-use interface.
Once you have successfully registered a domain it then needs to be hosted. This is different to hosting a website. In order to be 'seen' on the internet, a domain must be hosted by a Domain Name Server.
Once the domain is hosted, then you can attach a website or email addresses to it.
